Can we just talk about this for a second?
Jefferson’s hands are ink-stained.
The thought put into this miniseries just astonishes me.
His fingers are ink-stained when he, Adams and Franklin are in the garden ruminating on what will become of the US now that they have gained independence. SD’s TJ is very much in keeping with what is known, Jefferson did loll around on the furniture, he often seemed distracted, he was a bit of a fop, he didn’t appreciate constructive criticism etc… The makers of JA did take some liberties but they also tried to be historical accurate in other ways.
